Terms of Service

For every Gursoy Digital Solutions app and digital template · Last updated: 18 October 2026

Who we are

These terms govern your use of the mobile applications and digital templates published by Gursoy Digital Solutions, an individual eTrader licence holder based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, “the developer”). You can reach us at contact@gursoydigital.com.

Installing, opening or buying any of them means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app or the template; uninstalling the app, and not using the files, is the way to stop.

What these terms cover

Our Android apps, each of which also has its own privacy policy describing what that app stores and where:

Our digital templates — the Kept & Ready planners, binders and trackers sold as instant downloads through our Etsy shop, supplied as fillable PDFs, spreadsheets, or both.

They also cover this website, gursoydigital.com, which is an information site about those products. The full list of app privacy policies is on our privacy page, and the website’s own policy is at gursoydigital.com/privacy.html.

If we publish a new app or template, these terms apply to it too, unless it ships with terms of its own.

Our products are tools, not advice

This is the most important thing on this page, so it comes first.

Our apps and templates perform arithmetic on figures you enter, and keep track of what you record. Price Floor, for example, takes the costs and making time you type in and works out what a product pays you per hour. Cash Flow Forecast & Budget projects forward from the entries you add. DIYSnag records the defects you yourself observe and lists them in a report. Every output is a result derived from your own inputs. None of it is a valuation, an audit, a survey, a forecast you can bank on, or a statement of what anything is worth.

Nothing we publish is professional, accounting, tax, legal, investment, financial, surveying, building, medical or mental-health advice, and none of it is a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your situation. We do not know your real costs, your tax position, your jurisdiction’s rules, the true condition of a property, or what your customers will pay. In particular:

  • DIYSnag produces your own checklist and report. It is not a professional snagging inspection, a surveyor’s or building inspector’s report, or evidence of a property’s condition, and it does not establish anyone else’s liability for a defect.
  • Cash Flow Forecast & Budget and Price Floor are estimate tools for personal and small-business planning. They are not financial, investment, tax or accounting advice.
  • Gnash is for letting off steam in private. It is not therapy, counselling, a medical device or a crisis service, and it does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. If you are in distress or in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line — not an app.
  • LevelUp.Do tracks the tasks and streaks you enter. It makes no promise about any outcome you are working towards.
  • The Kept & Ready templates are blank organising documents. They are not legal, insurance, medical or financial documents, they are not a will or any other instrument, and filling one in does not create or record a legal right.

You remain solely responsible for:

  • the accuracy of the figures and details you enter — garbage in, garbage out;
  • what you charge for your own products, and every other business or household decision you make;
  • your own tax, bookkeeping, licensing, insurance and regulatory obligations;
  • checking any number or detail that matters before you rely on it.

Apart from Cash Flow Forecast & Budget, which can convert between currencies using exchange rates (see its privacy policy), our apps do not convert between currencies. In those apps, a currency symbol comes from your device’s settings and is a label only: no exchange rate is applied to anything.

Your licence to use our apps

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use our apps on devices you control, including for your own business. We keep all intellectual property rights in the apps, their designs and their names.

You agree not to resell or redistribute an app as-is, pass it off as your own product, or decompile, reverse-engineer or modify it except where law expressly allows it. You also agree not to use an app to break the law or to infringe anyone else’s rights.

Your licence to use our templates

When you buy a Kept & Ready template you may use it for yourself, your household and your own business, print it as often as you like, and fill it in by hand or on screen. We keep copyright in the files, their layouts and their designs; what you write into a file is yours.

You may not resell, share, redistribute, sublicense or give away the files themselves, whether edited or unedited; sell them as part of a bundle, a course or a membership; claim them as your own design; or re-list them on Etsy or anywhere else. Your purchase buys you the use of the file, not the right to sell it on.

The files are digital goods, delivered as downloads. We do not ship anything physical, and no printed copy is included.

Purchases in our apps

Our apps are free to install. Some offer a paid upgrade: a one-time purchase in DIYSnag (the Property Pass), Cash Flow Forecast & Budget (Pro) and Gnash (Gnash+), and an auto-renewing subscription in Price Floor (the Shop Pass, sold monthly or yearly, which lifts the free tier’s limit on how many products you can track). LevelUp.Do is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob.

Google Play is the merchant, not us. Every in-app purchase and subscription is sold, billed and processed by Google Play under Google Play’s own terms of service. We never see or handle your card number, billing address or Google account details.

It follows that:

  • The price you see is set in your local currency by Google Play, and includes any tax Google collects for your country.
  • A one-time purchase does not renew. It is tied to the Google account that bought it, and Google Play restores it to that account when you reinstall or change device.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. The renewal price can change; Google Play notifies you in advance so you can accept it or cancel.
  • You cancel in your Google Play account, not in the app — at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period already paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by Google, under Google Play’s refund policy, and your statutory rights where they apply. We cannot issue, reverse or expedite a Play refund ourselves. Write to us anyway if something has gone wrong — we will help where we can.
  • Losing access to the Play Store account you bought with, or to the device, is not something we can restore a purchase around; Play restores entitlements, and it restores them to the account that paid.

Paid features unlock capacity or convenience. They never change the fact that the output is an estimate, and buying one does not make it advice.

Template purchases on Etsy

Kept & Ready templates are sold only through our Etsy shop. Etsy is the merchant, not us. Etsy takes the payment, delivers the files and holds the record of the order, under Etsy’s own terms of use. This website never sees your name, address or payment details.

  • Files are available for download as soon as payment clears. Nothing is shipped, and the listing tells you which formats and paper sizes are included.
  • Because these are instant digital downloads, they are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Etsy’s buyer policy and the shop’s stated policy govern returns, cancellations and disputes, alongside any statutory right you have as a consumer.
  • If a file will not open, is missing, or is not what the listing described, message the shop on Etsy or email us and we will put it right — normally by resending or replacing the file.
  • You need software that opens PDFs (such as Adobe Reader, for fillable fields) or spreadsheets (such as Excel or Google Sheets). We cannot guarantee that every feature of a file behaves identically in every third-party app.

Availability and changes

We develop these products as a small independent publisher. We may add, change or remove features, revise a template, raise or lower prices for new purchases, or stop publishing an app or a listing altogether. Where an app is a paid subscription and we discontinue it, we will not take payment for a period we cannot deliver.

We do not promise that an app is error-free, or that it will keep working on every future version of Android. Our apps store your data on your own device; keeping your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — including by leaving Android’s backup switched on, and by saving your downloaded template files somewhere safe — remains your responsibility.

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above changes when we do, and continuing to use an app or a template after that means you accept the revised terms. A change that materially reduces what you get from a subscription you are already paying for will not be applied to that period.

Liability

Our apps and templates are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost or mispriced sales, lost data, missed defects, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of your use of an app or a template — including any decision you take on the strength of a figure an app displayed or a page a template printed.

Where we are liable, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app or template in question — through Google Play or Etsy — in the twelve months before the claim arose, or, if you paid nothing, to zero.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. In particular, nothing here is intended to displace any consumer right you have under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its implementing regulations, or under the mandatory consumer-protection law of your own country of residence. Where such a law gives you a right that these terms would otherwise cut down, that law prevails and the rest of these terms continue to apply.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai, UAE have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there where that law gives you it.
